Between the 28th and the 30th of November 2022, research institutions, higher educational institutions and first responders from 5 European countries will meet in Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece, for the joint staff training “Skills for first responders”. During this event, partners will expand their knowledge and skills regarding the materials and the virtual reality activities that complement the training modules for first responders. Moreover, partners will discuss the usage of the tools for the creation of the network and how these will interact with the Learning Management System. Finally, partners will reflect upon the main functionalities that the Learning Management System, to complement and enhance the project.
The training program will consist of topics on the creation of a European Intelligent Network of first responders, soft skills, weather menaces, in addition to health and personal risks for first responders.The training is part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership for Vocational Education and Training “Advanced first responders training (STRONG)”, which aims to provide first responders online courses for an effective response to a series of circumstances. The online courses will be complemented by a digital tool that will give the opportunity to first responders to connect, share experiences and foster cooperation among first responders’ team at European level.
